Safeguarding Aim Statement:

It is imperative that children feel safe and secure at Shipston Pre-School. By providing a nurturing and supportive atmosphere our ethos is to celebrate each child’s individual achievements and to encourage them by modelling caring and positive attitudes. The Pre-School team are dedicated to safeguarding children therefore a fully trained member of staff is designated to oversee the safeguarding practices at Shipston Pre-School. All staff and volunteers have appropriate child protection training and written policies and procedures are in place to keep children and staff safe. The policies are subjected to frequent scrutiny to ensure that they comply with the latest legislation and guidelines from the Early Years Foundation Stage, Warwickshire County Council and Ofsted.

Parents and carers are encouraged to read the policies and become aware that safeguards are in place. Documentation is freely accessible to be viewed by parents/carers at all times.
